2007 “Floating Wedge” Details

For 2007 Malibu introduced a new version of the manual Wedge to compliment the Power Wedge introduced in 2006. Not only is the new “floating” manual Wedge more convenient to use, it also improves the performance of the boat, and the quality of the wake. We’ve had a lot of questions about how the new Wedge works, so here’s a brief video we put together that details the functionality of the new manual Wedge.

Best of all, the newer Wedge can be retrofitted on any boat with an existing manual Wedge, although both a new bracket and the new foil will be required. If you use the Wedge most of the time, and especially if you wish you would have selected the Power Wedge option, the new floating style manual Wedge may be a worthwhile upgrade.
