Malibu’s Wedge Earns Official Patent

We’ve been using the Wedge since late in 1998, but until recently, Malibu hasn’t patented this exclusive wake making device. That all changed on December 12th, 2006 when Malibu was awarded a US patent for the design of it’s unique Power Wedge wake enhancement and shaping tool. Thanks to this patent, we can ensure the Wedge will remain exclusive to Malibu boats for the immediate future.
